Special Notice: Hurricane Dorian Information

September 4, 2019: Although the severity of Hurricane Dorian's impact on Delaware is still unknown, the forecast for Friday is calling for 30- to 40-mile-per-hour winds, one to three inches of rain, higher than normal tides, and minor coastal flooding. At this time, campgrounds remain open through the weekend; however, if you wish, you may cancel or shorten your stay with no penalty. Your refund will be processed within the next 10 days. Should you choose to cancel your reservation, please call (877) 987-2757. This message will be updated as conditions change.

RV camping at Delaware Seashore

Delaware has 5 unique parks with RV and Tent camping available to choose from. We have camping near the Atlantic Ocean at Cape Henlopen, with the beaches, great dunes and historical WWII towers, and Delaware Seashore with the marina, beaches, and 2 restaurants.

Inland we have campsites at Killens Pond with our waterpark and slides, Lums Pond giving you the opportunity to camp under the tall loblolly pines, and Trap Pond surrounding Delaware's largest freshwater millpond.

Cabins

Delaware has 3 unique parks with cabins available. From Cape Henlopen with our secluded cabins that sleep 6 with oversized screened in dining porches and access to our beaches, to Killens Pond with our family cabins that sleep 4 and feature both air conditioning and heat for your camping comfort, to our rustic cabins that sleep 4 at Trap Pond that are situated next to the water.

Yurts

Yurt at Trap Pond State Park

Yurts are available at Lums Pond and Trap Pond State Parks. Yurts are round stationary structures with canvas walls that feature: a single and double bed bunked together, a double bed size futon, an outdoor seating area, and outdoor deck. Yurts are a fun and easy alternative to pitching a tent yourself, but still allow you to experience the rustic feel of camping outdoors. Perfect for the new camper!

Cottages

Cottages at Indian River Marina

The cottages at Indian River Marina are located on the north shore of the Indian River Inlet inside Delaware Seashore State Park. The park is one of the Mid-Atlantic region's most popular recreational destinations, with a wealth of natural settings and six miles of ocean and bay shoreline.

Visitors can enjoy swimming, surf- and deep-sea fishing, surfing, sailing, paddling, hiking, bird watching and much more. The cottages are adjacent to the Indian River Marina and close to resorts, restaurants, tax-free shopping outlets, historic sites and park amenities.
